Planned changes in the construction law that will facilitate investment process.

The Polish Ministry of Investment and Development is planning to amend the construction law that will i.a. reduce the red tape, simplify and accelerate procedures related to the process of applying for construction permit.

The most important change for investors will be connected with decreasing of the number of documents needed during the process of applying for construction permit. A draft of the amendment involves i.a. a simplification of required construction design and legalization of old unpermitted buildings.

The Ministry is planning to organize public consultations for the draft. It is assumed that the changes will be introduced in the second quarter of the year.
